-> Wednesday & Sunday nights, Trader Dicks Lounge, DJ Larry plays very danceable WCS music.  Wood dance floor, about 10x35ft, small but usually large enough to accommodate us. To keep this, and the below, venue going for us we need to support the lounges by purchasing something to drink - be sure to tip your waitress/bartenders.

-> Thursday thru Sunday nights, Dance to live music in the Cabaret Lounge of the Nugget Hotel Casino in Sparks. Most dancers arrive to dance between 8-9pm.

-> Which bands are playing is posted on the Nugget's website.  The Cabaret Lounge has approximately 15x20ft wooden dance floor, bands play on a raised stage.  Whether or not Swing music is played is up to the band, but most bands will take requests, and most of their music is Swing-able.

-> Valet parking is available, as well as a 5 story parking garage.  There is a walkway between the casino and the garage on the second floor of the parking garage.  See below for driving directions and how to find the lounges once inside.

Directions:

From Reno or west:   I80 east toward Sparks, Take the "Pyramid Ave" exit.  Take a right at the end of the offramp and circle around to your right onto Nugget Ave.  The first building you come to is the parking garage.  There is a walkway from the parking garage 2nd floor over to the Casino.  Follow the walkway to the escalator. 

From East of Reno: I80 westbound toward Sparks.  Take the Pyramid Ave Exit.  Turn left at the end of the offramp crossing under I80 and then circle around to your Right onto Nugget Ave. The first building you come to is the parking garage.  There is a walkway from the parking garage 2nd floor over to the Casino.  Follow the walkway to the escalator. 

From Lake Tahoe:  Take Hwy 50 east bound over the hill to Carson City, turn left on Hwy US395 North, follow the instructions below.

From Carson City:  Take Hwy US395 northbound to Reno.  Exit onto I80 east bound toward Sparks.  Take the "Pyramid Ave" exit.  Take a right at the end of the offramp and circle around to your right onto Nugget Ave.  The first building you come to is the parking garage.  There is a walkway from the parking garage 2nd floor over to the Casino. 

Cabaret Lounge: To find the Cabaret Lounge, make a left at the bottom of the escalator. Straight ahead passed the Slot Machines is the Cabaret Lounge.

Trader Dick's Lounge: To find Trader Dick's Lounge, make a "U" turn to the left at the bottom of the escalator and follow the walkway around - always bearing right - and it'll be on your left just passed the restrooms.
