Jim Ewing 284 Bartmess Blvd | Policies & Procedures 1) We will accept drop-in students. These are students that can only attend classes on an irregular schedule. The Drop-in student fee will be $12 per class. 2) Intermediate and Advance-Intermediate classes will run on a calendar monthly schedule, which is normally 4 week sessions. Cost will be $40 for the 4 week session. In 5 week calendar months then the cost will be $50 for a 5 week session. Novice classes will continue to be 6 week sessions for $50. 3) So as to not "lock in" the two Intermediate classes above to a set choreography, we will introduce one or two moves per class and work only on those moves. We will not practice the moves of any previous class(s) if there are Drop-in's. If the class is having difficulty with the first move, we will not introduce a second move until the class has mastered the first move. If, however, the class masters more than two moves, we will introduce a third or fourth one - I think the difficulty of the moves in the above two divisions will preclude the introduction of more than two moves in most cases. 4) Each class will be 45 minutes long. The last 15 minutes of class will be practice time with music. During this 15 minute musical practice, Donna and I will help any student with any questions about the current night's moves, or previous night's moves if they had attended that class. 5) Students may no longer attend both the Intermediate and Advance Intermediate Classes without paying for both classes. 6) Students may no longer attend both the Reno and Carson classes for no charge because we may not be teaching the same material - each class in both locations will be a separate entity. They may, however, still attend the Novice class for no charge if they are enrolled in either of these two classes. We encourage all students to review the basics. 7) We will continue the announcements of new Intermediate and Advance-Intermediate class beginnings for each calendar month. The new class beginning schedule will be for students to be able to purchase a whole session at one time at reduced cost, in lieu of individual classes at Drop-In rates. 8) Referral Policy: If you are enrolled in any of our class sessions, and you send us a NEW student (for any class session), then you'll get a $5 credit toward your next class session - send 2 couples, you get a $20 credit. Note that this applies only to Students who are currently enrolled in our full session class. This does not apply if you haven't been enrolled in the past and you bring someone with you to class and you enroll at the same time; this also does not apply to Drop-In students - this policy applies ONLY to full session students..
